etruscan chain, blackened

​this etruscan chain is a classic loop-in-loop chain and has been given many names but i stick with the first name i learned for it. this chain is formed of fine silver wire that is made into rings. the rings are soldered together, then shaped into the loop and finally joined one by one to each other. finally the chain is pulled through a draw plate to smooth and tighten the chain. in addition to the c clasp, i have added an extra 2-inches of loops at the end of the necklace to allow for modifying the length of the chain. i have given this chain a blackened finish which gives a nicely aged look.
